This is an interactive training series Our Trainer will provide a 1-4 hr. training that incorporates an introduction to Trauma and how it impacts the workforce. Part of the training is a personal narrative from a person who lived a lifetime of trauma to their job every day. After the brief lecture, we will break into groups to discuss the need to understand how trauma impacts individuals. The lecture will emphasize how empathy plays a role in understanding. There will be an introduction to Strenght Based Practice in the workplace. Strategies for supervisors are a key component of this training. Leadership strategies to lead a workforce to sustainable change will help improve outcomes for the staff, and the people you serve.

4 Developing a work plan that incorporates an understanding of Trauma
